Transport for London operator interface

I interviewed several TfL employees as they used an existing UI to find out how it could be improved. Updated designs were created following these interviews and subsequent designs were created as the UI’s technological offerings were developed.

“It can get so busy here that options to improve and personalise the interface would be really helpful”

The interface needed to organise a lot of information in a restricted space.

Conclusion

Talking to the TfL operators and watching them work was really instructive, it meant I could design a new interface that benefitted the operators’ working practice.
